Registration

Registration for the 3rd UNWGIC is free of charge and follows a two-step open process:

  1. Expression of Interest: Interested participants are required to submit a request to participate in the 3rd UNWGIC through the registration system. All requests will be reviewed by the UN-GGIM Secretariat.
  2. Registration: Upon favorable review, interested participants will receive an email to proceed to the second step and complete their registration process as participant of the 3rd UNWGIC.
  3. Confirmation Letter: Once the registration process is successfully completed, a letter of confirmation will be sent to the registered email address. This letter may also be used for visa application purposes.

Please note that the registration deadline for the Third United Nations World Geospatial Information Congress is 1 October 2026. Participants are encouraged to complete their registration before the deadline to ensure their participation in the Congress.

NOTE:

  1. Participants are encouraged to submit their requests at the earliest to avoid delays.
  2. Applicants should clearly indicate during registration whether they require an official letter to support their visa application.
  3. All registered participants are requested to carry a copy of the letter of confirmation to the Congress venue for on-site verification, registration and any security clearance.
  4. On-site registration will commence at the Congress venue on one day before the official opening and during the Congress from 16-19 November 2026 from 08:00 a.m. -17:00 p.m.
